Radio ERROR after entering wrong code

I had to enter the radio code as the battery had been disconected, i have entered the incorrect code and now the display is showing ERROR.

I have disconected the battery and reconected again, however it is still showing ERROR.

Any ideas how i can re enter the correct code?

You have to wait a certain time mate.

If it's the first wrong attempt, it shouldn't be too long. About 10 minutes I think.

It gets longer every time it's entered wrong though, so watch out.

My fault, i had entered a 4 instead of a 2.

I will go back out and give it another go.

I did this once, i didnt have to wait long iirc, around ten mins or so?
