Radio security code

Hey, Just had to disconnect the battery to sort out the connector and the radio is coming up asking for the security code. I dont have the manual for the car, anyone know a way I can unlock it without having to pay someone a tenner to get me the unlock code?

Yeah I thought it might have been asked a lot so I did a search and didnt find anything soz

Problem is I dont have the service book, was sold to me without it, someone said phone up renault with my reg. because its the original radio and they will give me the code?

I think you may need your VIN and registration to get the code

Yeah just rang them up gave them the reg n they gave me the code, sorted
