ive not used that before, but the carlack glass sealant kit is superb, and lasts ages (water is still beading off my windscreen from one coat applied about four months ago)

what do you use on the windscreen? i only you a quick detailer on mine, which if anything tops up the protection of the sealant. i found out the hard way that house-hold glass cleaner strips it off :(

Excellent if used correctly. Once it's dry you must go over with a damp cloth, makes all the difference.

Im worried about scratching the screen if some grits under the wiper i normally rinse morning dew off but was considering rainx to save me some effort

Used that too on my old car. Problem was that the Windscrren was looking moonsurace, but away from that it was great! had to reapplie it often... but thats prob. because of it was so fooked ;)

I use this on my rear window as the Bora's don't have wipers and it does the job admirably.

Not really a detailing product as such, but certainly sheets water away.

well all i can think that strips it off is either my snow foam or megs gold class or even a combo of both

The outside stuff is good. I used the rain-x interior foaming stuff for the insides of the windows though and its utter s**te.

normal rain x is quite good really. Especially if you do alot of motorway driving in the rain. Need to be going at least 60mph to see anything happen really. If you have to use your wipers alot it doesn't last that long really. Not really worth it imo, the novalty factor is nice for a bit, but it soon wears off.

did you buff it off properly mate (ie. spray water on and buff off with lots of elbow grease)? and make sure you prepped the glass before hand?

Well I did three cars with it at the same time and it was only mine it did it to so I suppose I may not have buffed it off enough. TBH I didnt think that much of it on the other cars anyway.

it's only good in certain rain conditions and speeds, which to me kind of limits the effectivness. eg. when it's misty rain, the windscreen needs to get a certain amount on it before beeding occurs, by which time you've driven into the car in front.lol. I'll not be buying it again. Smells like tequilla too, so always want to get pissed every time i use it :S

The original stuff is excellent.
You do need to follow instructions though.
Fantastic for trackday use as keeps windows (all) clear.

I use the stuff on all my glass and wing mirrors to, it's spot on, dam cloth to wipe windows once it's on and your good to go!
