Random connector - any ideas?

Was just hanging about in the engine bay beneath the airbox. Wouldn't be the connector to the bonnet open sensor would it? I couldn't anything really that it would connect to within easy reach?

Would I not get a code or dashboard light appearing for that being disconnected though?

The power steering is working fine; that sensor only tells the ECU to increase rpm when you need more power for the servo.
It should go here on the left side of the engine bay.

This is if we are talking about a Clio mk2

Same plug type yeah, but i'm sure with it being down by the battery that it's likely the one previously mentioned.
