could you 172 owners post a pic of the interior light section on the roof, the whole bit, light, switch, plastic surreound the lot...I'm just a little confused by something.

Being as no one else has bothered replying heres the light section in my 1.2 pretty much the same as a 172 bar the sunroof button.

no can someone explain to me what this bit is? and why in a 172 is was in earlyer it was buzzing with the ignition on?

It's a small fan related to the climate control, there is a few posts on here relating to there failure and how to grease/replace them.

Yeah as been said its the sensor for your climate control, They buzz after as little as 6 months as they get clogged up with dirt/dust etc.

I replaced mine as it buzzed, but it still buzzs now, its fine when its out of the casing, just buzzs when you put it all back together., doh!
