.rar files???

what way I ask, is a .rar file? and what programme does it run in?

Same question for a .bin file?

rar files are zipped / compressed files . You need a program like winrar to unzip them or the one i use is picozip .

Bin files are image files . If you downloaded a film that are image files you can burn the film using nero . You need to start nero , cancel the wizard then click on recorder / burn image as in the pic , then choose the folder where the image file is .

im always a bit wary of these .rar and .zip files. once u open them doesnt a load of .exe files pop out and spyware etc?
like a pandoras box (in a small amount of cases - and no im not downloading anything dodgy just tunes!)
