Rattline noise...

Well I found out the source of my rattling noise its this thing here...

Which was completely loose and was removed from here...

Is this common? What does it do exactly lol?

It's the fuel rail guard, stops you breaking the fuel lines in a crash and exploding in a ball of flames.

I've heard of them coming loose on here, just do it up.

Lol thats a 6.5 on the sarcastic meter.
So its not going to cost me an arm to get it fixed then?
Was out when the mechanic took it off so never got to speak to him.
