Really Annoying Problem

Right then. Clio Williams 2, just replaced the REAR wash jet (as it was blocked) with a brand new one.
Wash the car yesterday, looks the dogs, went down the road & water has come out the jet making a mess of my freshly polished motor. Cleaned it up, went down the road again, same thing happened.
Drove to work today, left the car sitting out side in the sun, went back to it at dinner time, still water present from the wash jet.

Any body know whats going on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sounds like the one way ball valve in the washer jet pipe is stuck.its behind the interior trim on the n/s b pillar/inner sill trim.its a little white pipe joiner with a ball bearing in it.the ball bearing sometimes gets stuck.

its only a small plastic part so should cost hardly anything.you can open them up if you want to see if you can free the ball bearing off.

Will have a look at the week end, i have had that piece of trim off when I changed the washer.

are you sure you know which trim i mean.the one covering the inner sill near the passenger seat.the valve is below where your passenger seat belt reel bolts on.

Going to get a new one, so fingers crossed.
