FF 182
After waiting 10 or so weeks for my whiteline ARB to turn up I fitted it and then went declaring the mod with my insurers, Admiral. I rang them up and they said that they couldn't insure me with that mod on my car, they said its possibly to do with my other suspension mod (eibachs) which i have declared under the description of lowered suspension <5cm. They pointed me in the direction of Adrian Flux who specialise in modified cars.
Im a bit pissed off although it is mainly my fault for not checking with Admiral before i bought it, typical!
Im concerned that if i change my insurers the price of my policy is going to rocket as when i originally got my insurance for the first time 2.5 years ago Admiral were the cheapest by far. Im 23 with 3 points.
Has anyone else had a similar issue or is anyone else with an insurer (maybe Adrian Flux) who isn't that expensive and lets you declare your mods?
Advice would be appreciated
