well mine are held on with clips and mine is a 2002 model, though im sure rob fenn posted a link a while back where it showed how to remove them, yet there were no holes left afterwards
Yeah sorry to move away from your post but my 16v also leaves holes when I take the badges off. Can I get the grey stripe without any badges on? cheers people.
Ive removed the Renault and Sport badges on the left of the boot on my Mk2 172, which were just stuck on. But Im sure the Clio badge on the right is mounted with two holes thru the bodywork.
However, the car in the link above is also an "02" Clio yet has no holes.....how come?!
Like JJ172, Ive removed the RENAULT SPORT badges from my 2002 172. They were self-adhesive. The Clio badge on the right was annoyingly pinned. (The Clio badge on my 2003 1.6 is also pinned). Anyway, on the 172 Ive removed the Clio badge and sealed up the holes from inside and touched them up with paint. Ive now stuck the SPORT badge on the right which just manages to conceal the holes. So all Ive on me rear end now is SPORT
