rear brake cylinders

hi im have a problem screwing rear brake cylinders in, ive tryed loosing bleed nipple but they wont retract, any one help

Are you screwing it in? Or have you been trying to push it?

Haha ignore everything I've said just realised ur in a 197 which i know nothing about sorry.

If the rear brakes are much the same as the 182, i recently had the same prob. in the end i removed the caliper from the car and unscrewed the piston anticlock wise to get it as far out as possible and then rescrewed it clockwise and it went all the way back in. hope this helps
