my car was parked on the road at the end of my drive - with handbrake on.

this morning it wasnt there, it was abot 10 metres up the road with no rear bumper - looks bloody terrible.

they hadnt got in the car

only stopped because the front wheel was nicely curbed.

damage - no bumper & one curbed wheel.

dont know if they were after just bumper or the car & as they lifted up the back the bumper just ripped off.

I was parked across the drive

so somehow they have pushed it up the road

dusty car - no marks on it

might have pussed it with another car

maybe just took the bumper because it had prints/paint on it??

Do you not think they would have been easier wiping the prints from the bumper rather than taking the whole thing? lol

This is a strange one, i take it your not gonna tell the insurance>? I wonder if because its been moved from the original position you left it would that be classed as a "stolen, recovered" ?

Not worth going down the insurance route - me thinks

police say they wont come and have a look as no ones been in it.

so on the lookout for new bumper
