rear diamond on mk ph2 removal???

Lift the boot lid remove the plastic trim there's one screw one on one side the rest is just cliped in place so just pull and it will come off, then there's 3 screw's holding the surround in place unscrew them and just pull the surround off from the outside, then if you want to remove the diamond there's 4 clip's but they are glued on i just picked the glue off with a sharp knife and thr diamond should just clip off then when putting the diamond back on i used a glue gun to glue it back in place

aye i took it off but the glue just wont budge ive had hot hair dryer on aswell haha

I need this one answering too guys, i took the inner panel off, undid the three nuts so the unit comes loose but the thing just won't part no matter how much i pull and i don't want to break it, it's like there is still something holding it on, the outside part lifts about a quater inch but thats it.........any more detailed advice anyone?

i just used a stanley knife on the sort of black blobs but only enough to free the diamond afterwards it clipped back in no problems at all no glue required for me

I just masked it up and painted it without removing it from the recess.

I removed the grab handle from the tailgate though.

cheers guys, i just pulled it harder, it was held in with clips too so just took a bit more force, i'll hot glue the diamond back on after
