  221bhp/ton Mondial Terror
im currently on the look out for a 172 cup. Found a good cheap one but the rear discs and pads need replacing. I know the fronts are easy and cheap to buy but i dont know about the backs. Any help would be great! cheers

Yeah they are . Are you sure the pads and discs need changing on the 172 cup you've looked at ? The rear pads are only 11mm new including the backing plate , 4.6mm minimum thickness . The rear discs are 8mm new and 7mm minimum thickness . Also they have the bearings already pressed in and the abs rings which you won't need as the cup doesn't have abs . You can just leave the rings on , it doesn't matter .

if you aint bothered about bearings ready pressed in then there is a cheaper alternative

i went to local motor factor place that supplies garages round town.

£17ish per disc and the bearing was £16ish per side pads were about £20ish
(was a while ago so cant remember exactly)

youve got a cup so they abs ring doesnet need swapping as they prob wont have one on.
