rear flaps

rubber flaps which are found behind the rear bumper. Can be heard 'flapping' in the track car.

Do you actually need them or should i just remove them?

nope, in the boot behind the plastic boot linear bit

erm never had that problem, just yank them off, im not too sure what they are tho' but just do it

apparently they are for the heater/AC to help airflow and to stop exhaust gases getting into the interior

i thought they were to let the air move out of the car when doors are shut etc so there isnt any pressure inside the car. mine flap a bit too come to think of it, trims out though so that probably makes it worse

yeah this is the track car im talking about, it has no interior so you can hear it quite loud. I dont see why i need them though
