Rear Fog Flicker

  Silver ph2 Clio 172
Does anyone else have this problem?
Sometimes when i press the brake pedal, the rear fog light symbol on the dashboard lights up.
thanks,

I've got a Phase 1 and mine did it when I first got it. It seems to have sorted itself out though. I remember initially thinking I'd bought trouble but all is good now

It doesn't seem to happen all the time so I'm not too bothered. glad I'm not the only one.

How weird is that . I noticed this for the first time tonight on mine . As i was stationary , just started the car up , i pressed the brake pedal and noticed the rear fog light symbol on the dash flicker ever so faintly . I got someone to check that the fog light wasn't coming on , it was just the symbol on the dash . I wonder if anyone else has had this ? Is it a problem or maybe it'll just go away of its own accord .

I had this, fixed it and it's came back within like two weeks. I must have a leak getting into the connectors :(

So your connectors were showing signs of corrosion ?

Yes, but i cleaned them up but back to how they were. I think the water is geting in from the side of the roof at the back. I tried sliding it back and pulling it up but i didn't want to break it

I'll have a look what mine are like tomorrow , if they need cleaning up a bit .

Only other places i could think of water getting in would be the boot seal and the petrol cap surround. Mine is a bit rusty
