Rear hub threaded

Took my rear wheel off to do some cleaning under the arch. When I went to put it back on I noticed that one of the holes on my rear hub has been threaded out completely so that the hole is smooth inside.....looks like the usual garage with an air gun being idiots trick.

Now, I know that the rear discs have the bearings and ABS rings in, but do they have the threads for the bolts too? A la...

Or do I need a new rear axel? It can't be re-threaded with a tap and die set as the hole is completely smooth and not cross-threaded.

No you don't need a new axle just the thread re taping or a new rear discs which is the route I would choose but I'm a fussy sod

Already got some new pads ready to go on. Been meaning to get round to getting new discs so this has given me the final push.
