Rear jack point for spring change

Where am I jacking to change the rear springs? Some say rear beam and people generally hate the sills!

Jack up using rear beam, then axle stands on the sills.

Use axle stands and you can do both sides at the same time. Use the jack on the rear beam to lower it slowly once the shock bolts are undone.

you can use the rear beam just use a good piece of wood to spread the load a little, but as already said you will need axle stands too to allow you to lower the rear beam to get springs out

or unbolt the rear shocks with the car on the deck and use gravity

cheers guys, ended up using 2 jacks one on each sill was ok!

had to take car to garage for the front strut bolts (1 was ok, 1 we couldnt undo [yes i wd40'd night before ]) and we saw the shock absorber bolts and left it, in tomorrow with Fred when i get Yozza done
