Rear Light Problem, When pulling cable it works

Discovered a weird problem today whilst pulling up got told my rear light wasnt working so kept the rear lights on and fiddle with the back wire and when i pull the wire the light comes on ??? seems weird anybody had this ??

Rear light connections/wiring corroded?

Could be poor conection/s where the multiplug plugs into the rear lamp.
Pull the connector off and squeeze the pins in the plug together to make a tighter fit on the lamp.

will try that in a bit thanks mate just found it weird how when its all the way in it didnt work but then wen pulling it it came on lol
