rear pads from a dealers?? how much

anyone know how much a set of rear pads are from the stealers??
not fitted or anything just off the spares counter

I was quoted nearly £50 from the dealers when I got mine, so I got some Textar (I think) pads from GSF for £12.

how can prices vary so much? just rang gsf and there quoting £25+vat for textar??
