rear seat removal

I had my rear seats down today to put a load of stuff in the boot, and when i was moving the bottom bit that you sit on, it just seemed to totally come out in my hands!
are they supposed to be this easy to remove or is something missing?

Yeah they are, when that bits down it locks in place. Thats normal mate.

Nope, you just left them up and they come out, least thats the way it works on mine.
