Hi all,
I used to use this forum quite alot but have bought a new car however my old clio 182 is still in the family (my mum drives it and averages 36mpg lol) and were having a few problems and would be grateful if anyone could help!
The car is on an 05 plate and has done 44000 miles and I'm less that happy with the reliability the car has been in 3 times for warranty work on exhaust including a new cat and is now booked in for osr wheel bearing, there's something wrong with the front strut (common problem?) and also have been advised that the knocking from the rear suspension is that the rear shock has failed and is leaking!
When i walked back into the service area with mecanic and he exlained what was need to the guy i was then told that the rear shock was not covered under warranty as its a wear and tear item!
I find this pretty bad its not covered and i seem to remember reading a thread along time ago about the same problem but cant find it.
has anyone else had their rear shock fail while the car was still in its warranty period and did they manage to get it fixed under warranty?
many thanks Harry
