Rear speaker

right tomorow im planning on adding 6x9s onto parcel shelf,



could some one tell me how u get to the rear speakers (pics if possible), also what kinda screws hold the original speakers in (torx etc)

Remove rear seat (bottoms only) and pull off speaker cover, unscrew screws and unplug speaker wires!

Not that hard but if you want pics I get some later!

main thing is getting the panels off dont wanna damage it,

good sounds easy,



also going on quality of front speakers i believe there 13cm ones, wich would be better the factory front ones or some 2 year old kenwood 110watt peak power speakers

First upgrade the std headunit as replacing std speakers you will not find any difference as the power out put is fairly poor.

Also you have comp. speaker in fronts, ie. small speaker (tweeter) on dash and mid range in door

ye i gathered that the standard head unit is a bit w**k , but it has a 6 disc changer , n dont wanna buy a alpine one at 300 yet as i wanna be able to get a ipod for it.



so just wanna get it a little better for now

To be honest mate I wouldnt bother changing any speakers until you change the Hu as there little point, and a waste of your time!

to be honest i just want all this done so when i change headunit itll only be a 20 min job



then im not rushing about one day doing it all
