rear windscreen washer

my rear windscreen washer has suddely stopped working - it was going fine and then i tried it yesterday and today and it jst wont work - when i pull the right stick i hear can her the motor working but nothing sprays out?

any ideas?

i would have guessed that it was just out of water but the fronts are still working unless they get the water from different places?

No, same place.. make sure its filled up properly anyway just to eliminate that from the list of possible causes.

Check that nothing has become disconnected from the pump to the back of the car. IIRC the tube runs through the headlining so getting to that could be a problem. You may also have a blockage along the way which would be hard to clear.

Disconnect the tube at the back of the car just as it meets the window and try the pump again, if you get water comming out its probably a blocked jet.

but ive been spraying it loads in the last 2 days and theres been no sign of the water appearing in the puddle outside the car and no visbale wet patches inside the car so ive got no fooking idea where the waters going unless its blocked but that doesnt seem too likely as it was fine the other day and i think the blockage would more likely restrict the water than cut it off completely?

The rear pump is set higher in the washer bottle than the front.

so if the pump is nearly empty then that could explain it?

Like I said, fill it up just to eliminate the possiblity..
