Rear wiper stalk broken . . .

For some reason, the end of my rear wiper stalk is hanging off . . . the trip computer works fine when I press the button on the end and the rear wipers work fine too, but it's bloody irritating trying to work things with it hanging off the end!

This happened to anyone else by any chance and are they easy to replace?
