ah yeah its been like that for a while cos i put new plates on my 182 an when i was buying them i asked do they have to put their company name an code on them cos i didnt want it an they said they have to by law! its only where they were made tho!

I made up some normal font plain plates, no postcode or gb flag, now if this will end up failing as I dont have a shitty postcode at the bottom then il just swap them round for mot time

But there's nothing preventing people from just switching to different plates for the mot.

It's rather petty but at least is stops all the muppets.

Does this now mean the price tag of personalised plates will come down?

A friend of mine is a PC, and when they issue tickets for incorrect number plates, they also send a photo to the DVLA to ensure that the person does not simply pay the fine and then replace the old plate. I understand the DVLA check up and the fine from them is a lot more than £30

Its only so they can trace you now using the ANPR b****cks. They have sprung up everywhere in london.

All you need now is MOT testers that actually know what they are doing!

I was out with a VOSA guy the other day doing visits (for work) this is how it went:

Vosa: ok, so the car doors do not open do you continue the test?
Mechanic: all of them?
Vosa: no just the drivers door.(sarcasticaly)
Mechanic: Erm, yeah spose just climb over sorted.

Oh dear.

I think its outright f**king stupid all these bullshit laws

whatever next?
you wont be able to drive with your windows down between 9 and 11 am
