Recommend me a latop around £400

I'm looking for a new laptop for home. I basically have no idea what to look for in a computer so any help would be greatly appreciated.

All I do on a laptop is my uni coursework and surf the 'net. But would like the best I can get for my money.

Yeah thats a good spec for the price, however I've heard many complaints about HP build quality - I'm not sure if it's an issue myself, but complaints do seem more common than complements.

I bought a couple of the one below that for a customer the other week with 2GB ram and 160GB. Have to say I was quite impressed by them as a budget laptop. I thought the build quality of this model was good imo.

ignore people about Hp, i got a HP laptop that in respect did cost me £1000 but i use it alot for gaming, its bloody marvelous!
