Recommend me some Itb's

Ok i've decieded that the money spent on matched/powder coated inlets could be better spent on Itb's
Seeing as i'm going to be running an aftermarket ecu (Icarus) anyway, that part of the cost can be ignored, as i'd be paying for it either way.

I'm leaning towards the AT Direct to head Bodies at the minute, so i'd be interested to hear people experience of these (i've read the long thread, but is there any updates)

also if someone could give me an indication on price's for there recomendations and also if they had to change anything to make them fit/work.

Cheers
Chris

AT Power sound like the ones to go for at the minute! Some very positive reviews..

The only thing you could/can change is the radiator, running a shorter one means you can run longer trumpets IIRC?! and the air filter set-up will not be cramped.

Jenveys iirc have never had a bad review, however i know the AT ones did, due to them not performing as good ( probably down to the direct to head design, some engines just don't like it). I can't comment on the AT's as i've never tried them, in theory they should work better than jenveys, but practise is never the same.

You need to get a back to back test from someone to compare AT's and Jenveys with all variables the same except the itb's.

As Gray said, shorter rad, like mine, will help airflow and cold airflow at that, will allow longer trumpets if needed, the torque with my 90mm ones is fine so not upgraded.

Slide throttles are the best if money is no object!

ive heard the ATs have the advantage due to not having a manifold like the JENVEYS which is where the trumpet length comes into it ect

we have done a few AT Power kits on various cars now, including Ben172's clio on here, always had decent results with them. also done several jenvey kits, only one on a clio, results were similar power wise. We would favour the AT Power bodies for the clio.
