Recommend me some speakers...please

To compliment my iMac I'm looking at getting some new speakers. I'm after a basic 2 speaker plus sub set up. So far I have my eye on the harmon kardon soundsticks or the Bose companion setup, both are top end of my budget.

Question I have is there better available for less £, but look just as good?

I have these in white. f**king superb! Satellites are cast alloy and heavy. The sub kicks out wicked bass. Brilliant for tunes and gaming.
