recording music to pc. help!

just wondering if anyone can help me with this, i sometimes record my mixs using soundforge, i last used it a few weeks ago, just went to do a mix tonite and for some reason its not recognising any sound to record, all leads are in correctly and the music will play through the computer speakers to prove this!

cant understand why its went like this all of a sudden!

Has one of your sound options been muted? Double click on the little speaker in the bottom right corner of the screen and see if any of the sound inputs etc has been muted?

nah its not that, i can hear the music im playing on my decks through the computer speakers, so i know its all connected up fine and working through the line in, thats why im baffled that the program isnt recognising any sound!
