Red Mk1 172?

Im viewing one this weekend, are they very rare? I havent seen many, if any ever! Does anyone have a pic?

Quite rare, the silver are the common colour.
Yellows rarer though from memory.

ive seen yellow but never red. i really like the yellow colour

yeah red ones are very rare, never seen one in the metal. someone on here used to have one, not sure if they are still on here

Im keen to see one but not sure Im going to like it, over the Common but very nice Silver!

red is well rare - I'd have one for that reason alone! Plus I think red suits the mk1 172's better than the mk2 172's (IMO of course lol)

The red is very rare have seen a couple on autotrader one only had 23k on the clock

I think its the best MK1 colour along with yellow. and theyre realy rare

Flame red is probably more rare than Sunflower...just.

gorgeous colour, esp suits the Mk2 RS though imo. Sunflower or Titanium for the Mk1.

That red is a lovely colour on the mk1 172. Only ever seen 1 in the flesh. Saw one on Autotrader a few months ago selling for cheap as chips due to the high miles the guy had done.

Im pretty keen on that red after seeing a decent pic, have to see what its like in the flesh! The Blue is nice too but I do love the Silver!

what about oydessy blue never seen one yet in my area seen a red one though,me thinks ph1 172s are rare anyway.

if you find one view it in sunlight....my mate had one and it looked pinkish in sunlight.. metallic red doesnt work
black pearl was the best colour by far..

The yellow is called 'sunflower yellow' Bubbles used to own one & so did SpecialK. I think there are some pics on the gallery.

The Mk1's in red look gorgeous! Would love one as my next car (march 07), either that or black, i've seen one near Hemsworth (West Yorkshire) a couple of times.

My car for 5 years, sold it 6 months ago, I never saw another one on the road.

Sold to a good friend so I still get to see it, he even let me have a go in it recently , I loved that car.
