Has anyone done this?

My father has bought one of those cans from Halfrauds and hasn't used it all.
It's got a gauge on it to tell you how full the system currently is.
When I look at my 172's system I see 2 different caps on the ac line - which one do I connect it to?

one may be the high side and low side valve. vapour or liquid charging.
chances are high side liquid line is the smaller dia pipe.

this works for a/c work i do for building and ect.. so not 100% sure whats the deal with the car a/c systems.

You're not supposed to mess with that stuff as it can cause frost bite and you can loose your fingers. It's wicked stuff. You should take it to a dealer of competent garage and have it re gassed. Some jobs are specialist jobs and this is one of 'em

yep tell me about it, does hurt alittle when some refrigerant leaks on your fingers when changing hoses and charging/recovering a/c systems.
