Reg plates

Car  1.2 16v Mk2 Ph2
Looking to buy some new front and back reg plates, but don't want an advertisement on them and also looking for a competitive price.
Thanks in advance!

There's a company I always use on eBay, think it's 'perfect plates'. Completely plain with the tiniest postcode on the bottom (legal requirement)

£27 for a set of standard plates delivered from Fancy Plates, can't remember them being that expensive last time I ordered!

Fancy plates; go for a custom footer like i did ;)

Reg plates came today.

They're okay, not the highest quality though. They also came a little bent at one side but wasn't a problem as it bent back easily.

Looks good mate, not even sure they're legal though with them being raised up? are they metal?

I stand by fancy plates though. Mental quality.

I get my plain ones off eBay. Have done for ages. Autosoundsdirect

£11 delivered.

I hope they're legal! Yeah they're like thin metal and they've been pressed.
They look great but I'm pretty sure if you get a jobsworth you can have your tits handed to you.

I think they have to be made of a 'retroreflective' material. Your plates will have a retroreflective coating but metal in itself isn't retroreflective so I think there's a bit of dispute on that one. I'm not 100% sure tbh.

@Sunglasses_Ron May inform you better.

i was looking into getting some and after a long google search it appears they are legal but like you say some jobsworth will find something to complain about if you argue the fact they are legal i was going to get some but may attract attention from the wrong people

Had a set on mine from these people,been stopped also they are road legal so stick them on mate
