does any one know what full equipment i would need to purchase apart from laptop to actually do this myself from the site?

RS Tuner kit.
you get the module (little box) and a map file sent via email.
trust me, if I done this, you certainly can.
plug and play.

Nope, plugs into ODB - flashes the ECU - then you don't need the box anymore - you can then sell on for what you bought it for .

I don't understand this.. The unit comes with 1 license for a remap right? You then sell on for lots of money, and the buyer then has to pay for a new license, which presumably costs almost as much as a new unit?
