Where does it say on the site that they will come to you? It says locate a dealer?
It will just be a generic remap as said above. Actual figures are anyones guess but i guess generic remap is still better than no remap
To be honest fella, unless your car is broken or modified in a big way then you'll want a '
generic' map as it will be tested and proven.
How the process works with almost any ECU tuning companies is this.
1/ The agent you take the car to will read your map through the OBD (on a Clio)
2/ The map will be transferred to whoever does the maps.
3/ The map will be adjusted (with what they know works on that car) and everything will be checked over because although you might have 2 identical cars, they won't have identical ECUs so you can't just put the same map file on 2 different ECUs.
4/ It will be sent back to the agent to upload onto the car.
Bingo. If you have breathing mods then they can all take this into account when adjusting the map.
All I can say if you're dubious. Get the remap done, have it done at a location with a rolling road and get before and after tests. If it doesn't give you more power, get your money back. They wouldn't put 9hp on the website and offer a no quibble 7 day refund if it was b****cks.
Where are you based fella? We're in Warrington, do Superchips remaps and have an associate nearby with the latest DynoDynamics rolling road (around £100k apparently:dead
which is meant to be as accurate as you can get at the moment.
