remote locking blip wanted :$

I was wondering if its possible to fit something that makes a blip noise when i lock/unlock the car via remote locking....purely so that i kno if the cars locked/unlocked

Not with the standard central locking afiak. Fit an alarm, worlds your oyster though.

Erm, not brilliant.....is it a big job? ie expensive if i were to get someone else to do it for me?

There is a solid state way of doing it or a simpler traditional component method.
Neither expensive or complicated as long as you have the means to check voltages on wires and can solder or crimp terminals.

dont know how it was done as it did it when i bought it but when i lock mine with the plip key it makes a sound. has an alarm fitted onto it but theyve managed to get it hooked up to the key.

oh and btw, its bloody annoying, im getting rid of the alarm cos of it!

Yeah i don't get why you would want this, is the noise the locks make not loud enough?

Well my locks arent that loud tbh, and would like some kind of warning that its locked :S, though if you're finding it annoying, i might think twice
