Removal and cleaning of Mk2 Ph1 Headlight

My front left headlamp is very yellow whereas the other side isnt, and it looks stupid. How can I remove the headlamp and is cleaning it easy or tricky?

removing is fairly simple, dont know how you intend to clean it though, do you mean the lense is degraded on one but not the other?

The outer plastic glass bit is yellowed, just through what looks like algae or grime. Is this bit not cleanable?

IIRC from a another thread somewhere you have to heat the headlight up so the sealant around the lens becomes free.

i would say its not purely as its plastic, i had tried to get some scratchx on there to remove the grime and degradation but it didnt work, just bought two new ones in the end.
