Remove exterior handles? How to?

Removed all my doorcards etc and trying to remove the exterior handles! I've undone the 2 nuts but how the hell do u take them off the metal rail? Tried to unclip it but am a bit stuck

Undo the two M10 nuts, release the lever and they should just pop out?

got them out finally! now I cant clip the drivers side level back in because my fingers are too big and theres less space than the passenger side!

Seems to be a really awkward angle. Ill have another crack tomorrow in the sunshine hours

Use long nose pliers.
