Remove Mk1 Door cards

I am currently in the process of removing my clio's door cards and have done everything but remove the window winder, I have tried forcing it off, looking for screws etc, but I just can't get it off. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It pulls off, with lots of force! I think it's on splines, give it a good tug
