Remove Service Light ? Clio 197

Basically,

Bought the car a month ago from Hartwell... so they service there cars etc before they leave... therefore doesnt need a service.... but they didnt reset the computer, so since I left dealers when I bought car, was saying service due soon, and now today the service light as come on, and says service due.

Anyway of resetting this without paying renault silly money?

Anyone around cardiff who can do this for me?

if it was something renault should have done,

you should be able to take it back and have them do it for free no??

I never bought the car from Renault.... I went to Hartwell (national Ford dealer) in Hereford and traded my old car in, so they serviced it but didnt reset the service light if you get me

Start the engine, Click the trip computer (on end of wiper stalk) to get to the service bit, press and hold either up or down button untill it flashes SERVICE IN 12,000 etc.

Managed to figure it out not long after I posted my last post, did exactly what you said
