Remove the plastic cover from front of engine?

  1.6 Ford Focus
How does the plastic cover on the front of the engine by the grill come off and what exactly is behind it? Im assuming its just the radiator down there but I want to have a peek under there.

Here's the only picture I can find of what I mean... It's the plastic cover at the bottom of the picture.

the slam panel? If it's anything like the 172/182 its part of the front grille and requires the bumper to be removed.

Plastic cover is the grill, there will be 2 plugs(1 each side) their black ones so just pop them out located top left and top right, then were the grill is, tap the front right side first just abit and it will start to come loose, do exactly the same for the left side and hey presto grill is off :)

As above^ The grill is is wedged into the bumper at the bottom of the honeycombe, no clips or screws. Push on the bottom of the honeycombe with the flat of your hand working your way along the width off the slam panel and it should pop out. If it's never been off before it will be stuck fast with dirt, then try levering with a wooden battern with not too much force or you will crack the honeycombe section.
