removing a head unit and installing steering wheel controls

firstly how do i remove the standard clio head unit? its got two holes at each end of it, do i need some pins or something to stick in.

and also if i'm going to install the steering controls aswell (2 wires) will i need to remove the dash? or is it simpler

Hi, you can buy special pin thingys. But I just cut up a coat hanger into four straight lengths, it's just as affective. Push them all in at the same time and pull the unit out easy peasy.
As for the steering wheel controls, you can probably poke the wires down and grab them from underneath in the footwell, but getting them to the steering wheel control you will need to take the steering surround of I think, don't know much about that stuff as I've never done it.
