Removing ABS altogether: Valver.

  1996 Valver
I would have thought the lines just go to the ABS pump before the master cylinder:
i.e., you could just re-direct the lines, but they will require re-bending the pipe's, they will probably be brittle so are possible they will snap, You may want to get the whole set of lines from a scrapped car.
After that remove the pump and abs sensors. I can’t help with removing the ABS fault light you will get from removing these, but i am sure someone will know.

Hope this helps

PS; why are you removing it, is the MK1 system cr*p, or do you just want to go for the TVR experience?

It's faulty...

...rather than trying to find a used unit that works, I'd like to go for the TVR experience!

(or, ahem, CUP experience)

Oh sorry, is it for the car in your avitar thing (172/182?) I was thinking of the ABS system on my mate's valver, didnt even think of what car you may have, either way I would have thought it is the same setup!

Many thanks for the replies... but Forget It!
I've just checked, and it's a Bendix system... so the whole engine has to come out.

Big shame.. I was looking forward to stripping-her naked!
