Removing Airbag ECU

Hello chaps.

I've got a customer coming round my house today and I've said i'll remove his airbag computer and send it off for him. Now I've only ever removed them from stripped out cars, not cars with full interiors.

My question is, can I remove it with the interior trim still in place? Like just remove the ashtray and take it out from there? Or do I need to remove the centre console completely.

(I've got no tools here, hence my worry that he's going to turn up for nothing!)

Need to remove the centre console (only clipped in). ECU is bolted down though.

Remove ashtrat, unclip lower part of centre console, 3 or 4 10mm bolts and it pops out from what I remember.

Bit random...

I think from memory that the centre consol is only clipped in so you should be fine with no tools? I can go check mine if your in a hurry?
