Removing back seats (with photos)

can you see the black and shiny bolt (star shaped key) i cant get them out

Just take the black one out. The bracket has a slot in the front and pulling the bracket back towards the rear of the car will release it so you can remove the seats.

You dont need to, its there to locate the bracket not bolt it down, there should be no tension on it. Take the black one out and pull the bracket towards you.

As Loony says you don't need to remove them and IIRC they might even be welded in so you won't get them out unless you use a gas axe!

o my finall done everything out, so rapid now. thanks alot people. just gotta wait for the new front seats to arrive (nxt challenge)

haha, thank fook for that. Only taken you a couple of weeks to get that seat out hasnt it at least its done now.

I took mine out in the dark. Wired up and installed my amp sub and head unit in the dark too come to think of it, lol.

Know what thats like i put my mates system in on my drive 2am and i was still drilling holes in his doors etc to mount everything. The neighbours were not impressed. Even less impressed when it got powered up
