Removing cam pulleys

  PH2 172 & 182
How would I go about removing camshaft pulleys, with no cambelt fitted and no pulley locking tools? Any secret methods? The engine is on a stand, so access is good. Buzz gun wouldn't have them off, probably due to a weak compressor

Cheers

My 1/2 snap on battery gun always gets them undone mate without fail. Other than that you need to lock the pulleys with the correct tool and attack them with a knuckle bar.

  Many.
Careful you don't turn the cams, if you've locked the crank at TDC you're very likely to bend valves undoing the pulleys.
