Removing ciggie lighter from it's housing?

Any clues on how to do this?

Obviously the you take the plug out from the bottom of the ciggie lighter, but then how do you remove the lighter from the housing?

I need it for sat nav!

iirc the grey plastic bit can unclip from the main part. The connector comes off too. I think as soon as the grey plastic bit is off the cig lights pushes out.

I think by the looks of things, if you look down like the last picture, you will see around the yellow housing, two tabs? which look like the need to be pressed in for it to come out. The bulb holder and bulb needs to come off first tho i think, just unclips.

right, i've got the grey connector/bulb holder section off.

and the lighter now wiggles in the housing. looks like it should come out from the top but it won't budge!

is there any easy way/knack to getting it out?

for future reference for anyone also doing this...

you need to unplug the connector. then remove the grey bulb holder/connector - it just pops off. then unscrew the tiny torx bit in the middle of the cigeratte lighter. then push up and out as hard as you can and the whole lot pops out.

job done.
