Removing dents\scratches

Car  Monaco 172 2/468
Just wondering if anyone has any techniques on getting rid of small dents or scratches. I have a monaco blue 172 and people i've asked seem to say just leave it because of the pearl colour....... if I can get rid of a few of these little things though I would be most grateful :D

Help please !

seen good result from dentman etc....

Dunno about anything you can do yourself.

I was quoted £300 by a place in Kippax to paint my front and rear bumpers, bonnet and a V6 spoiler for my Iceberg 172. He was recommended to me by my local motor factors, ASK if you know it.
I got Chipsaway out to see what they thought and Nick ,the Chipsaway technician said that it wasn't worth him quoting me based on the quote I had been given for a proper respray.
He did give me a number of Dent Solutions who he recommended. I think the guys name is Jonathan - 07813 817338

get a long flatheaded screwdriver and grind off the edges so its nice n rounded, like this..

take off any trim, door pad, whatever, so you can get to the dent, feel it and find out exactly where it is, and gently apply pressure to the dent and push around in circle motions, keep checking on the outside of the dent to make sure you aint pushing too hard or not enough.
be patient, do it slowly and eventually the dent will come out. first attempt you should make it look alot better, after that it comes with experience.

as for scratches, depends how deep they are, if you can only just feel them with your nail they can more than likely be flatted n mopped out (wouldnt recommend doin it yourself if you dunno what your doing), take it to a bodyshop n ask if the scratch can be mopped out.
as for surface scratches or key marks use G3, rub it pretty hard then go over it with something less coarse like G10 or whatever polish you use. then wax it if you like. G3 will get out virtually all scratches/scuffs/paint/tar etc etc

u can get a kit form halfords that is pretty cool. its for small dents and what u do it use the little suction device and it tells u to put hot water on and warm the suction device up then press it on as hard as u can then bath it in freezing water. this makes it suck onto the bodywork solidly. then u simply pull slowly in bursts until dent is out. i would only do this if u are confident to do so or are experienced but its made for begginers. if n e one wants advice on halfords stuff i work there and have a bit of knolege on there stuff and what they can get in for u. i can also check prices if needed. add me on messenger if needs be at chopperdice@msn.com
