Removing front and rear bumper mouldings on a mk3....

Hi all,

im looking to colour code the front and rear bumper mouldings on my mk3,

im just unsure to how they come out? do they pop out and clip back in place, or do i have to take the bumpers off and unscrew them?

any help would be great!

Are they not part of the bumper?

no you can buy the mouldings from renault, so i assume they can be detached.

Ah. Well i removed the front bumper from the 197 last week. Front arch liners need to come out. Then there is X1 10mm that taps up from the bumper into the wing. Then there are iirc x4 10mm bolts underneath. Then there are x2 under the bonnet, long with x2 plastic srew clips. Think thats it, needs two peeps imo, as the bumoer is also clipped to the wings each side. Needs a bit of jiggling to free off....... Being a Renault though i bet they are clipped on, give em a pull. Also $tormrider will know as he's smoothed his stips out.
