removing headrest's ??

hey guys im struggling with the front head rest's i dnt seem to be able to pull them out im guessing something is holding them in ?? im trying to remove them to put in my screens any help be very good thanks

Are you holding in the little locking pin, theres 1 on each side

yes but still seems to be stuck in there tho

If your holding in the pin then they should come out with a gonk yank,I never had them out when I had a 172.

should have said they have to come out dead straight best to push them up from the middle
